The first ad for the Verizon iPhone 4 on prime-time TV last night shows a series of ticking clocks that finally strike “12:00″ in unison, followed by a series of slides: the gray Apple logo above “iPhone 4;” the Verizon logo; “It begins;” “2.10.11;” closing with Verizon’s retro “Rule the Air” logo. Impressive advertisement I must say. The AT&T iPhone ads aren’t too shabby too. I have always found the AT&T iPhone ads to be very heart warming.
The AT&T iPhone has been around for three years, with 70 million in circulation so far. 70 million units is just a number to anyone, but what that means for everyone thinking of creating an app is 70 million of consumers that they can entertain and engage! With the Verizon iPhone launched, this is GOOD NEWS for everyone! Brands, app developers and game developers alike, and of course subscribers a.k.a. users a.k.a consumers a.k.a customers!
The Apple AppStore is going to grow! So how do you entertain and engage these 70 million consumers? Email LEFTRIGHT and we can show you how!

LeftRight Studios wishes everyone Happy New Year! 2010 was indeed a great year for LeftRight Studios and 2011 is going to be even better! With more people on this planet owning smartphones and don’t forget iPod Touches and iPads, is it time for you brand or company to put your footprint in the mobile app world? Whether you pick the Apple AppStore or the Android Market or the new Windows Marketplace, NOW is the time because did you know that people are never more than 5 feet away from their phones at any given point in time? How do we know that? Everyone in our office sleeps 1 feet away from their phones, have their phones on their desks at work, then tucks their phones into their pockets (or purses) when they leave work, and then charges their phone when they get home less than 5 feet away from where they are sitting or standing. Whether you are thinking of a mobile application, or mobile game or just want to fully utilize the functionality of today’s smartphones (push notifications, location services, augmented reality etc.), talk to LeftRight today!

If you haven’t heard, someone paid $335,000 for a virtual property in this MMO online game Entropia. We haven’t heard anything as astounding as this yet in the virtual goods economy, but the question is what’s next? As virtual goods become more valuable to consumers, and the practice of purchasing virtual goods in games moves into the mainstream, brands have a major opportunity to provide consumers with a commodity tied to a brand without cannibalizing purchase of their own product.
Branded virtual goods in games are starting to pop up everywhere from online games, Facebook games, and now mobile games as well! It won’t be long before virtual in-game stores start to mirror online stores or even brick and motar stores, the difference is you cannot touch and feel what you buy. But the satisfaction and self-gratification seems to be quite about the same.

“It opens up a broader horizon for us,”
“The iPad is more than just a phone and gaming device.”
So we are not the only ones who will be anxiously waiting to get our beloved iPad tomorrow. I have never felt so much anxiety (in a good way) and been so excited about anything that is lifeless and obviously cold to the touch. Well, Apple has definitely changed that all for me (and for all of us)!
